It’s nostalgic reading all the posts about the high schools seniors finishing this chapter of their lives and starting the next one. Reminds me of that bookmark back in my own novel I call life. Not only was that a time of great happiness and excitement, it was rather idiosyncratic. I can’t describe it any other way. I just know that anxiety that they feel, because I have the same anxiety. About to start my sophomore year at the greatest university on earth, there isn’t anything else like it. I don’t really have words for this emotion. It’s just, different.
In a good way.
